About Itoku

Tucked away in the vibrant city of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, lies the charming and culturally rich village of Itoku. This village, though small in size, is steeped in history and tradition, serving as a vital heartbeat of Yoruba culture.

Itoku’s proximity to the Olumo Rock, a significant historical and spiritual site in Yoruba land, adds to its allure. This closeness to the rock symbolizes the village’s connection to the deep spiritual and historical roots of the Yoruba people.

The community is filled with darkness, as there is an urgent need for the light of the gospel. God opened a great and effectual door for the gospel to have its course in the land. Many who heard the Gospel had never heard such good news preach before in their own dialects. Our brother, Pastor Otu Olugbemiga and our brother Sola Abraham (Pastoral Intern) have been labouring in that community as we look to the Lord for fruits that would abound unto eternal life
